Case 2: The machine does not turn off the screen when the car key is removed.

Possible reasons: The red and yellow wires are connected to the original car B+ normal power. Check the wiring. The red wire is connected to the original vehicle ACC, and the yellow wire is connected to the original car B+.

1.2.2 Steering wheel control does not work

ISO cable key1/key2 wire

Universal loose wire power cable key1/key2 wire

In Android universal phones, the key1/key2 cables will have stickers on them.

If the steering wheel control cannot be used after installation, check whether the steering wheel control wire is correctly connected.

Step 1: Find the original car steering wheel control line and connect it.

Currently, the common original car steering wheel control signal lines are in the following forms:

Analog resistance type (resistance gradient type): Each button on the steering wheel is connected to the same signal line through a resistor network with different resistance values. When different buttons are pressed, the voltage/resistance value on the signal line will change.

Two-wire analog type: The steering wheel control signal of some models will be divided into two channels, such as one channel controls the volume-related buttons, and the other channel controls the song switching and mode switching buttons.

Digital bus type (CAN-BUS or LIN-BUS): The steering wheel buttons transmit data through the CAN bus or LIN bus, and the signal is in digital communication format, not a simple resistance signal.

For the first and second signal forms, connecting the key1/key2 line can control the steering wheel. The third type requires the purchase of canbus and special lines that are compatible with the original car.

Wiring steps

1. Power-off operation: Confirm that the engine has been turned off and the power has been turned off before wiring to avoid short circuits.

2. Find the original car steering wheel control line:

(1) Single-wire system: When removing the wiring harness behind the original car host, you will find a separate signal line marked with SWC (Steering Wheel Control) or similar logo, or you need to refer to the vehicle model wiring harness diagram to confirm its color and position.

Appearance: Generally, it is a thin single-core signal line (may be different colors, such as gray, green or blue), with a ground wire (usually black or brown).

(2) Two-wire system: When opening the plug harness at the rear of the original car host, you may find two signal lines with different names or specific colors in the original connector, corresponding to the left and right or up and down steering wheel button groups.

Appearance: Usually two independent signal lines (for example, one green and one gray), plus a common ground wire.

If the above method cannot find the corresponding steering wheel control line, refer to the following method:

(1) Check the vehicle maintenance manual or the original circuit diagram: Usually, the pin definition table of the host plug will indicate "SWC", "Steering Control", or "Key".

(2) Use a multimeter to measure resistance: In the power-off state, use the resistance range of the multimeter to measure the resistance value of the signal line to the ground, and press different steering wheel buttons respectively. If the resistance value changes in a step-by-step manner, it can be confirmed that it is a resistance gradient signal line.

3. Wiring:

Single-wire system (resistance gradient):

Connect the original car steering wheel control signal line to the car machine KEY1 line;

Leave the car machine KEY2 unconnected or ground it according to the manual;

Two-wire system:

Connect the original car's first control line to KEY1;

Connect the second control line to KEY2;

(If the original car has two steering wheel control signal lines, and the car machine has only one key line, connect any signal line of the original car to the car machine key line)

1.2.3 CarPlay function cannot connect wirelessly

1. Confirm the phone model and version information
Confirm the phone model and version information (iOS system version must be above 12).

2. Confirm BT connection
Confirm whether it can connect to the Bluetooth of the car computer. If it cannot connect to Bluetooth, please restart the car computer to see if it can connect; delete the matched Bluetooth settings on the mobile phone, turn on/off the Bluetooth function again, and try again to see if it can successfully connect to Bluetooth.

3. Confirm WIFI connection
If Bluetooth can be connected, confirm whether the WIFI on the mobile phone is turned on.

4. Confirm whether the reversing adapter cable is missing
If the Bluetooth connection is normal, confirm whether the reversing adapter cable is connected; whether the WIFI connection signal is full and normal, CarPlay still cannot connect, try to connect CarPlay using a wired USB to see if it is normal.

5. Wired connection verification
If the Bluetooth connection is normal, the WIFI connection is also normal, but CarPlay still cannot connect, try connecting CarPlay with a wired USB to see if it works. If it can be connected normally, there may be a delay in the wireless signal transmission on the mobile phone. Please try again later; if it cannot be connected, it means that the mobile phone does not have the CarPlay function.

6. If the above methods cannot solve the problem, please contact customer service.

1.2.4 CarPlay function cannot be connected by wire

1. Confirm the phone model and version information
Confirm the phone model and version information (iOS system version must be above 12)

2. Confirm USB connection
Secondly, if there is no prompt on the car side and the phone side after inserting the USB, confirm that the USB cable on the phone side is normal, change another USB interface and confirm again, plug the USB flash drive into another interface to confirm whether it can be recognized normally, and rule out whether it is a problem with the USB interface. If it is a problem with the USB interface, please get in touch with customer service to replace the USB adapter cable.

3. If the above method cannot solve the problem, please contact customer service.

1.2.5 Problem of wireless connection failure of the Android Auto function

1. Confirm the phone model and version information
Confirm the phone model and version information (Android system version must be above 11)

2. Confirm BT connection
Secondly, confirm whether the Bluetooth of the car can be connected. If the Bluetooth cannot be connected, restart the car to see if it can be connected; delete the matched Bluetooth settings on the mobile phone, turn on/off the Bluetooth function again, and try again to see if the Bluetooth can be successfully connected.

3. Confirm WIFI connection
If the Bluetooth can be connected, confirm whether the WIFI on the mobile phone is turned on.

4. Confirm whether the reversing adapter cable is missing
If the Bluetooth connection is normal, confirm whether the reversing adapter cable has been connected; whether the WIFI connection signal is full and normal, CarPlay still cannot be connected, try to connect CarPlay using a wired USB to see if it is normal.

5. Wired connection verification
If the Bluetooth connection is normal, the WIFI connection is also normal, but CarPlay still cannot connect, try connecting CarPlay with a wired USB to see if it works. If it can connect normally, there may be a delay in the wireless signal transmission on the mobile phone. Please try again later; if it cannot connect, it means that the phone does not have the Android Auto function.

6. If the above methods cannot solve the problem, please contact customer service.

1.2.6 The problem of the Android Auto function not being able to connect via wire

1. Confirm the phone model and version information
First, confirm the phone model and version information (Android system version 11 or above)

2. Confirm the USB connection
If the USB cable on the phone is normal, change to another USB interface and confirm again (there are two USB interfaces on the car computer). Insert a USB flash drive into this interface to confirm whether it can be recognized normally. Exclude whether it is a problem with the USB interface. If it is a problem with the USB interface, please contact customer service to replace the USB adapter cable.

Secondly, if there is no prompt on the car computer after inserting the USB, and there is no prompt on the phone, you need to go to the phone settings-app to find Android Auto, check the storage and cache, clear the storage space, and connect again.

3. If the above method cannot solve the problem, please contact customer service.
